Choose the tuning guide you need

Save a stock baseline

Use one vehicle, one server type, one device, and one repeatable route. Record the vehicle’s exact in-game display name, current category, tire or wheel state, engine, visible tuning values, and fuel or weather state if the game exposes them. Take a screenshot before spending.

Run three clean tests: a standing launch to a consistent marker, a normal stop from a repeatable speed, and a corner or short lap you can reproduce. Keep the median result. The goal is not a universal record; it is a baseline that tells you whether the next change helped the behavior you care about.

Change one variable at a time

Decide on a problem: wheelspin, understeer, unstable braking, slow rotation, poor straight-line recovery, or inconsistent launches. Change one available value or part, save it, and repeat the baseline. If the result improves, keep it and move to the next variable. If it worsens, restore the last known state.

Changing the engine, tires, suspension-like controls, gearing, and alignment together may produce a faster run, but it does not teach you which part caused the change. It also makes troubleshooting harder when the setup behaves differently on mobile or after a patch.

Tune for the activity

For jobs, prioritize repeatability, turning clearance, braking, and recovery. A high-power build that spins or crashes can reduce full-route income. For racing, use the actual race surface and count clean laps. For drifting, build around controllable oversteer and a repeatable transition rather than the largest angle in one clip.

For drag runs, separate launch, acceleration, top-speed distance, and stopping. A drag chute only helps the braking phase if the car supports it and the player can deploy it consistently. For car meets, visual customization may be the objective; do not treat appearance as a measured performance upgrade.

Keep a small build card for every activity: exact vehicle name, current engine label, wheel or tire state, values you changed, route, server type, device, and check date. Add one sentence describing the goal and one sentence describing the result. This turns a screenshot into a repeatable setup and makes it clear when an update or vehicle revamp invalidates an older comparison. If the game does not expose a field, leave it blank rather than replacing it with a real-world specification.

Engine swaps

The creator’s current description names the 632 Big Block V8, while a recent community walkthrough shows a V12 swap in a BMW-themed car. These are useful discovery leads, not a complete compatibility list. Open Engine Swaps for a record that keeps the official engine label, community video context, in-game cost, and tested result separate.

Check whether the swap changes displayed statistics, sound, acceleration, speed, handling balance, or only some of those. Verify that it persists after respawn and rejoin before treating it as a saved build.

Drag chute testing

The current title and description explicitly promote working drag chutes. Use Drag Chute to confirm installation, eligible vehicle, prompt, deployment, reset, and reuse. Test on a clear straight in a private or quiet setting. Do not deploy in traffic simply to discover the button.

Drift setup and practice

Use Drifting to select one corner, record entry speed and line, and practice throttle and steering before adjusting parts. A tune cannot replace consistent inputs. When a build only works on one surface or one device, label that scope rather than calling it universal.

Protect Cash and saved builds

Read prices and refund or reset behavior before spending. Public sources do not confirm that every tuning purchase can be reversed or transferred. Keep enough Cash for the vehicle or job you actually want, and screenshot a valuable setup before an update.

If a saved tune disappears, confirm the exact vehicle entry, rejoin once, and check whether a revamp replaced the earlier version. Do not repurchase everything until you understand whether the game failed to load the saved state.

What still needs live testing

Every exact tuning range, unit, price, compatibility rule, control, save behavior, refund rule, and performance result requires an in-game date and test conditions. Unknown cells should remain unknown; real-world specifications do not fill them.
